Moving... again?

So, yes, we are moving again. We started the process to apply for on-post housing today. So, I am glad we haven't gotten all of our stuff yet because we don't have to move everything.

Chris's first day at his unit was today. I have been taking him to work everyday so I am not stuck at home all day without a car but that is one reason I am glad that we will be living on-post now. It is 30 minutes one way from where we live now. He had to be at his unit at 5:30 AM today... WOW that is early! He had a PT test today. In order to go on to further training, like airborne school or anything else, he needed to get a 270 on his PT test. He was convinced that he wasn't going to be able to do it without further training, but he passed! Yay Chris! One of his sergeants took him out to breakfast this morning, which is funny to me because just yesterday morning he was freaking out worrying about going to his unit... seems really terrible, huh?

Went to the doctor yesterday and met with a nurse to update my medical chart for their office. They are definitely more uptight than Dr. Kipp. Kinda makes me sad that I won't be going through the rest of my pregnancy with her, but I would rather be where Chris is. Although I haven't met my doctor yet, so maybe Dr. Starbuck will be ok.

Well that's all I have for updates now.

P.S. The Commisary is the best thing ever invented!

Finally got the internet!!

Hey all out there! After two weeks of being in Alabama... we finally got our internet hooked up this morning! I don't have much to update about, other than the fact that Chris is still in in-processing at Fort Benning. Hopefully by tomorrow, he will be at his unit. We are supposed to get 2 inches of snow tonight, which probably means that the whole base will be shut down tomorrow so he might not get to go to his unit until Friday. We still haven't gotten to schedule the pick up of our stuff from Michigan, so we are still camping inside. It's quite strange, and very annoying, but we are surviving.
